Winston has already broken enough laws as is. And if I were in his shoes, I would continue with the law breaking. Create a bold statement. Overthrow Big Brother. Well, in Winstons case, if he were to face vanishment. Then so be it, I would run away. Live off the land or wherever i could get away from the utopia of Big Brother. But before, running away from my problems I would try to investigate as much as I can. And then continue breaking the laws. Set an example for the others and show them that I can make it out of there alive. Prove that Big Brother doesn't have the power over everyone. So I would think that its every man for himself. Put my life on the line, so I could write in my journal and continue to break the rules. If I were Winston I would probably have been vanished a long time ago. But thats a whole other story.
Winston should continue on, investigate and keep "breaking the laws" of Big Brother. He must be careful, if he wants to keep his life. The race of his life is on.

Hey lue!! that is cool, i never though of it that way. Mine was to just get a group and change the world. But yours is to set an example hoping that everyone will catch on... right? But in the book it sounds like winson would get vaporized before he does anything terrible bad to big brother. But maybe in your plan to rebel maybe get a group and rebel together, that way you guys might get noticed, rather then just one person breaking the rules.

That would be infectious. If "things" happened, others may realize that there are dissenting opinions to the government. Kind of like graffitti on the wall--someone does it, we don't know who, but just the act of doing it show us a different opinion. Way cool.
yeah i think that you would of gotten vaporized at like age 10 if not younger if you live in Big Brother land.
That's a good idea that he should set an example for others who are against Big Brother.
